Well, I did it again !
« on: August 14, 2003, 10:20:18 AM »
I could not help myself again and in less than 1 week, I have now purchased my second lever gun. This one is another used but unfired and in mint condition 94ae in 30-30 without the cross bolt safty. 20 inch bbl with hooded from sight and again unbelievable walnut. Not quite as good as the 44mag, but very, very nice. This one has a low 5m serial number range and still has the factory sticker on the stock.

Anyone know were I can look up these serial numbers for date of manufacture ?

Thanks,
Avery Hayden Wallace

You're as bad as I am! I'm glad I'm not alone. We must find some means of control!! Only if I could slow down on guns long enough to buy a Chrony!  :-D

Good luck and be safe,
Scott

cabin4:  you're as bad as I am.  I guess this is a good case for gun control - when you can shoot them both at the same time, one in each hand, and hit what you are shooting at, you have good gun control.  Mine are in 444 and weigh a bit too much to try one of those 'Rooster Cogburn' stunts, but I just can't seem to stay away from those lever actions.  I guess we both suffer from 'leveritus'.  Mikey.
