What is the difference in the SB1 and SB2 frames
« on: November 27, 2008, 01:39:51 PM »
Hi
I'm new the the Handi rifles and was wondering what is the difference in the SB1 and SB2 frames
The .17s may be all the rage today, but it's the .22 Magnums and their heavier bullets that will bring home the bacon.

Hi, Welcome and Happy Thanksgiving.  Tim will come along soon to help.  It's explained very well in the FAQs.  Go there and browse around.  The SB-2 is manufactured to handle higher pressures than the SB-l.

Welcome Outlaw! As Pete said, the SB2 is made to handle high pressure non-magnum rifle chamberings, the SB1 is basically a shotgun frame, differences and lots more info can be found in the FAQs and Help sticky, a rich source of info for Handi newbies.  ;)
