And I too say Happy Thankgiving to all here on GBO. All the troops past and present need to be given a big Thanks for the freedom we enjoy. I am Dir. of Operations for a private non-profit agency that helps people with basic needs, ie. rent, utilities, food, prescriptions, ect. and we have seen a large increase in clients. For the month of Nov, we will have had to turn away 40% of those asking for assistance because we have to many to see with the people I have working for me. On top of that we handed out over 1200 Thanksgiving food boxes for people that signed up with us. Full meals, from the turkey to the cranberry sauce. We now have over 1400 families signed up for Christmas boxes and will provide at least 3 gifts for all children under the age of 18 with those food boxes. I only have a crew of 15, so this is a slamming time of year for us. My agency has been around since 1906, and it looks like we won't be going anywhere for a long time as long as we can continue to get donations and receive grants as we don't get any Government money. Sorry to ramble on, Holidays bring that out with me. Gonna try to fill some more deer tags in the next 3 days, then our deer season is over.
