Lovin' my 270 ultracomp!

Picked up a used 270 ultra comp barrel a few weeks
ago from a GBO member here and it flat out shoots.

Mounted a 3-9x Alpen Apex scope on it and
put a couple different 130 gr loads through it,
and they're both under 1" at 100 yards. 

I just may move it up to my primary gun for my
upcoming cow elk hunt here in a couple weeks.

Thing kicks about as much as an old daisy bb gun
I had as kid!

You other guys with ultra comp barrels...  Do you
like the way they shoot too?   :D

Way to go Mike, congrats!!  ;) I've had three 270 UCs, all have been excellent shooters, down to just one UC and a 24" fluted now.  ;)

Tim, did H&R/NEF make the 24" fluted?  or did you
have that one built for you??
