45-70 LeveRevolution

Shot Some 45-70 Leverevolution in my standard sb2 Handi today and I was impressed. They are real 1910 fps average for 5 shots group size 1.2 inches at 100 yds. This is with a 2.5 scout mount scope. I have a couple of spots that I hunt where the average shot would be within the 45-70's range. I am going to give it a try. Now the recoil is also real but not unbearable

I'm shooting the same load in the same rifle with a 3-9X50 scope and it shoots accurately at 300 yards if I do my job.  I like the Leverevolution and so does my rifle.

Thanks for the report wtroger, sounds like you should have no trouble making venision with those loads and rifle.

  My gun likes them too, about 2.5"@100yds. through the open sights. Not quite as good as my favorite handload but plenty good enough!
