wow, remmy can screw up an order (UPDATE)

So about 3 weeks ago I ordered a synthetic stock for my .223, a new choke for my .410/45 and the forend to said sythetic stock.

Well, I got the wrong buttstock, a choke for a 12ga, and a green camo laminate forend!!!!!

What the heck is going on with these people, this was all done over the phone, with me confirming what she had placed as an order.

They will be getting a call tomarrow.

I hope you guys are getting better results, I would hate to see H & R go down the crapper, Makes me very nervous.

Ok so I checked out the post on the thumbholes, guess I need a stock to match my new forend, lol I guess things work out sometimes. Im still mad though just not as much  :P

I called this morning, 4 weeks after UPS returned my damaged rifle to Gardner that I originally sent in June. Supposedly, it left Ilion for the second time on Nov 4 headed to Gardner. Maybe I'll see a complete unadulterated rifle in under 6 months. Maybe...

Good luck, I think you now have the record.  I'm still waitng for all the parts ordered when I sent frames off 6-13-08.  However, I do have both frames and barrels back, one of them blooded. ;)  DP

I guess I "could" have accepted a mangled box, but who knows what kind of surprises were inside. It's got to be bad when the UPS driver doesn't want to bring it inside and show you.

well I called today and explained what had happened, all the fellow on the phone could say is "what the hell were they thinking?!".  Turned out the green camo lam forend they send didnt fit any of my rifles, so I have to send that back as well.

Good news is that they are paying the shipping back, and Since the forend didnt fit and now I need two for my boyds I just ordered, He is giving me them for cost. and of course My original order, I hope to have the correct order here  in 10days or so.

Good luck guys, I dont wanna give up on em yet so Im keeping my fingers crossed, toes too.

They musta sent you a 12ga Ultra Slug Hunter Deluxe forend which is for the bigger 10ga based barrels.  :-\

Glad their working with ya on it, they'll get it right sooner or later. :D

Okay so I got two packages yesterday, just got back into town tonite. I opened the first and was happy to see the stock I had ordered the first time, the right choke and the wrench for it.

I was pretty excited as you can imagine, because in the other box was my shiny new green camo laminate forends to match my thumbholes I had gotten from boyds. So I rushed over,  ripped open the box and found two shiny new cinemmon laminate forends to match pretty much nothing that I own.  ;D (The sad thing is on the invoice it does say camo laminate.)

But since I had a wonderfull time today chasing coyotes around with my handi, I am willing to give them another try at this, because now Im just so excited to get the next package, heck itll be like Christmas, or a box of chocolates or a San Fransico Blonde... you just never know what youll end up with. :D

Oh If I happen to get some of the barrels you all have been waiting for by mistake... I just ship them direct to you  ;D
