My oldest son's birthday is Halloween. And his favorite pastime is fishing. Things got screwed up last week on his birthday, so yesterday,Tuesday, the whole family went out on Lake Erie perch fishing,as a birthday present. My youngest son caught the biggest perch, at over 11''. My wife didn't get seasick, my oldest caught the most, and I had a blast just putting fish in the bucket, and minnows on hooks.(Did catch a few myself!) And tonight, fried up a few of them little darlings. Can't think of a better eating fish. Did take note, that the first mate, and captain were catching alot of fish.More than anybody else. They were using a crappie rig, instead of a spreader set-up. So will change set ups for next year. gypsyman
