What is the going price for a .243 regular handi?  No extras.

Around $250 - $300 in my area. You can get them a little cheaper on line and have them send it to your FFL.

I just paid $265 for this new nickel/stainless .243. I added the scope and sling.  The store had a few other Handi rifles on sale for $219.

A little off subject. Handi's are rarely on sale in my area. I am not sure why. They seem to push the Rossi rifles much more (Dunhams and Dick's), they are advertised in our local paper almost every week. I do not think the Rossi rifle measures up to the Handi on several counts. I saw a regular Handi for $250 in 223 about a month ago at Gander Mountain. If you have to special order a gun, it will cost you more than that, they seem to charge full price (more than $250) for any thing special ordered. The deer calibers in Indiana (44 Mag and 500 S&W) are $300 for run of the mill Handis. Last fall I bought a "Gander Mountain special" synthetic 44 Magnum for $250. Like I said the pallet wood 44 mags were $300. I bought an Ultra Varmint for $250, but that was 2+ years ago. I wish I could buy regular Handi's at $219, those days are gone, I am afraid. JFYI there is a 7% sales tax on top of the list price here (Indiana), so a $250 rifle will cost you another $17.50. :(

I was in sportsman's warehouse last week.  Had them in stock for $199.  Picked up a heavy barrel .223.

Used Handis sell for $200-$225 all the time in the Classifieds here, sometimes as low as $150-$175, but not much less very often. The best buy I've ever here was a 22" bull barrel .223 Handi with a 4-12x40 Leupy VX1 for $250 shipped, but that was 3yrs ago, the scope alone sells new for that!!  ;)
