sheridan silver streek 5mm

this gun  is from my child  hood  and  has a scope base
the base broke the solder between barrel and pump
also seals seem to have gone bad
the gun  is 40 years  old  but  i want to raise it from the dead

anyone have an  address where it can be  fixed  and   what  do things like that  cost??
how does this gun compare to some of the newer stuff?
i  used to get complete penetration on 1/2 inch plywood  and squirrels

 About the best place to get a Sheridan fixed is www.Mac1Airguns.com
the mount in question is infamous for this problem. I believe he can fix you up, but I have not looked at his site for a long time so no idea on costs.
 The guns are worth fixing and using; especially the good 60's and 70's models.
