Just picked up a nearly new 155. Been looking for years and found one. IIRC, this gun has a cast receiver and it would be a no-no to rechamber to 445SM, not to mention doing this to a hard to come by rifle. Opinions appreciated. Thanks
You are absolutely correct, I think it would be dangerous to rechamber that fine rifle into a 445. The 44 is enough as long as you do not try to stretch it too far.

More serious - you could drill a hole in the front of the fore end and cut down the rod and put it in, just for the looks, just a thought.
