Tim it ain't just contagious, it is life/wife threatening
What should I get next?

Ya know, I often wonder why they can't manufacture a frame and a barrel to fit perfectly every time. It should be just a case of manufacturing tolerances. Perhaps I'm missing something. More than likely $$$$$$$.
You're ready for some custom Handis, aren't ya?? You're only limited by budget and frame strength, get whatcha want!!
H&R doesn't use precision engineering in building them, if they were using the same engineering techniques as TC, they'd cost just as much!! Although Remington totally re-engineered the assembly process during the move and they had began to review the quality standards and areas that could use improvement, a lot of the mistakes they made I'm sure were corrected soon after they learned of them. My Marlin contact believes in the next year we will see some genuine improvements in cosmetic finish and parts interchangeability. Hopefully he's right. He's moving to Madison next week to work in managing Marlin and H&R products, it will include monthly trips to Ilion to work with R&D, Customer Service and the Custom Shop, after he gets settled, I'm sure he'll let me know how things are going when he can.
