Any thoughts on this discontinued pistol?

I have a 622 Stainless 4 " alloy frame. It Shoots about two inch groups at 20 yards. Also it must be clean to be reliable and I mean it will not fire if it is really dirty. No more than 150 rounds before cleaning.
On the plus side it is light and I bought it for a fishing gun for night time and it has served well in it is so light I do take it. I had a run in with a rabid coon with only a four weight fly rod once.
I have the target sights and must tighten the small #4 screw often once it snapped off and the sight fell off. I called Sand W and even though the company had changed hands they sent me two replacements for free and asked that I would consider them again if I were to make additional handgun purchases.
I have a more accurate 22 pistol but it only goes to the range, if I want a tramping gun or one while big game hunting for utility I take the 622.

I have the adjustable sight 422, and really like the gun. It shoots about as well as I can, and I've shot some groups with it smaller than my Ruger MKIII will shoot so far. It's light, accurate, and unlike one I had a number of years ago, quite reliable. Like the  above poster, the first one I had was a bit ammo, and cleanliness picky.

I bought a 622 with target sites when they first came out.I shot it with every kind of bullet I could find to see which shot better groups.I found that the cheap Winchester and Remington bullets were best all around. My youngest daughter learned how to shoot with this pistol and needless to say she now carries it with her in the car.The only time I get to see it now is when she shoots up all my ammo and wants me to clean it.Don't think I will be getting this one back.

I have a 622 with a 4 in bbl, and it shoots well, with regular Remington ammo.
I've had it for a long time, and would like to find another mag for it. Does amyone know of a source for mags for a 622,???.

I have a four inch , fixed sight 422 that I use to qualify ccw students.  It ejects positively and to the same pile every time, and shoots better than the students do.  I hate the mag release in the grip frame, as i feel it isa dangerous.  If and when i wear this gun out, I will buy a browning Buckmark, probably the Camper.  I have a Browning Buckmark Target 5.5", and i have shot it loose twice.  i have had it for over twenty years, and it is a little more ammo sensitive, cleaning sensitive, etc, but it is easier to shoot wqell.. I didn't say more accurate,  I said easier to shoot well.

Mine is also a 4 inch fixed sight version. It is so light that it takes some concentration to shoot it well but it has taken a lot of small game for me and the light weight is why it keeps getting taken along. Mine is also very reliable and easy to clean.

I have a 6 inch (422) with adjustable sights and love the gun. A few years back I mounted a red dot sight on it and use it squirrel hunting. It's very accurate but prefers Remington and federal classic ammo. Bought the gun new in 1986 I believe when they first came out and have had no problems with it.
