I still consider a barrel clean after ONE fouling shot out of a clean barrel[/quote]

I don't...

A clean barrel will not shoot worth a hoot.  A least it won't shoot in the same place a fouled barrel does.  If folks want to ruin their barrels by cleaning them after each outing that's up to them.  It's totally unnecessary.

I will elaborate on my comment from page 1.  Last year about this time I took my annual "working vacation",  hoping to get some range time in & some whitetail huntin.  One early morning, on my way to work on my property, I crested a hill & saw three deer walking toward me.  I eased the truck door open, slid my Handi out, chambered one of my "go to" reloads & drew down on the largest one.  I waited for the near front leg to go forward, aimed for the top of the heart & squeezed it off @ 115 yds.  When I butchered the deer the aorta & the venacava were severed & both lungs were shot thru.  Me & my Handi put it where I thought it & where I aimed it.

#1  The shot was out of a "chilly cold" barrel with a "shiny clean bore".
#2  I am declaring the shot less than MOA or "MOD", whichever you prefere.
#3  It can be said from cyberspace that my rifle doesn't "shoot worth a hoot" but no one out there can
      make me care.
#4  Shootin for groups is just a refined form of " lead slingin".           :) ;) :D ;D
#5  Good marksmen only need a "one shot" group !                         :) ;) :D ;D

Let the discussion continue     ;D

Had enough, huh Fred.  Good to hear you chime in, where you been hiding?  DP

Have not been hiding, I post every ones in a while. Specially when I read nonsense like Swampies. Well there is little sense of arguing
with him. Just put him on the ignore list.
