210 savage

Have a friend who has been having his snap on hornady ammo was wondering if any one else was having any trouble, he called the company they told him to shoot three inch shells,but they are suppose to shoot two and three quarter also.Any one know why this could be happening.I cant believe they told him that.

 The 210 is designed to shoot 3 inch shells only

I shoot 2 3/4" Win Partition Gold slugs in my 210, they are by far the most accurate thing that it shoots.  However, they almost always hang up in the ejection port area and have to be flipped out by hand.

I used to own a 210F.  You are better off shooting the 3" shells if you want the most reliable feeding you can get.  Mine prefered 3" Federal barnes expanders.  I'd still have it if the state didn't allow pistol cartridge rifles.  A 210F is a great gun, don't give up on it yet.
