What do you consider to be a decent group with Lead and also with Jacketted bullets at say 25, 50, and 100 yars (with iron sights) from a rested position?

Once upon a time I expected groups of five or six at 25 to be about an inch or I wasn't happy. At 50 about double that but at 100 even in my prime I did well to keep them under 6" at 100 using irons. These days I'm far more rusty due to lack of shooting time and for sure the old eyes aren't what they once were and my nerves are shot. I shiver and quake and just can't hold the gun steady like I once did.

These days for me my shooting ability is about 2" at 25 yards at best and I can't hold double that at 50 any more and don't even shoot at 100 anymore.

No difference. One shoots as well as the other.
