Basically, the Cimarrons are Ubertis, some with additional polish and fitting.  The most voiced  problems seem to be spotty warranty/repair service.  EMF and Taylors also offer a number of reasonably comparable pieces.

I own a Thunderer,in 45Colt, and couldn't be happier,Just a nice S/A Revolver that shoots to Point of Aim ,each and every time I squeeze the trigger. My only complaint,is the Case hardening of the frame, It's kind of washed out looking, but I can live with that.

My Cimarron Lightning is great. Did have to replace a cylinder/bolt spring, but somebody did that for me at the range & I bought some spare springs to keep ready. . .but haven't needed them.
Had fine luck with Uberti Cattleman .45 and Birdshead .45, too.

My 5 1/2 Cimarron Army is the best grouping .45 single action I have ever fired. I don't know about customer service, never had a problem.
