Shoulder/hunting holster system
« on: August 03, 2003, 01:12:19 PM »
 Would like some advice on what type of holster that might fit the bill?
What  I am looking for is a shoulder holster system that can be used for hunting also, it needs to beable to change out holster types so that different types could be used for different guns. I want to be able to carry my revolvers one day and then change to be albe to carry autos the next or both at same time right and left sides. Have been looking at a few on the net but have yet to decide on which will be the best for what I want.
Also looking for a good crossdraw type for a ruger 5 1/2 bbl blackhawk?
Thanks for any help.

ck out the one at fox ridge. I dont have one yet but am going to buy. The shoulder strap accepts different holster models and has a shell carrier.

Take a look at the Bandito from Pistol Packaging. Might be just what you are looking for. It is what I use.

I just got a Tom Threepersons crossdraw from San Pedro Saddlery for a 7 1/2' Bisley. It's a beautiful piece of leather.
