NEF .22 / .410 combo
« on: September 20, 2008, 08:41:58 AM »
Walmart sells a combo outfit , .22 barrel and .410 barrel for $135. Is this the same as the Sportster ? Is this similiar to the Versapak you guys  talk about? Thanks.

It's different than the Sportster, it has an offset barrel so it will work with the centerfire frame firing pin.

Yes this is the Versa Pack.

They are no longer made so if your local Wal-Mart has one grab it as quickly as you can. My daughter has one of these and her and I both love it.

If you don't want it or don't buy it buddy there are many here who would, myself included. We wouldbuy it for our children, our grandchildren (or ourselves!!). Snap it up and don't look back, they are great guns, and not made any more. If you don't want it what state are you in and which Walmart had it?....<><.... ;)

Buy the darn thing, TODAY! I'd buy another if one crosses my path. My .410 barrel has some issues but the .22lr barrel is the most accurate (with CCI SGB) .22 I've shot in years.

As has been said,  don't plan on buying one unless you find one in a store, they still list it in their catalog, but it's been discontinued from production for quite a while now. :(

Went to this Walmart today and placed an order for one. Lady at the store said she had one in stock but it's on hold for a customer. Actually she said she was ordering 3, mine and 2 for stock. I know that doesn't mean they still have any, keeping my fingers crossed! Will let you'se know this week how I make out.

I think wal-mart might have assigned the Rossi Combo the same catalog number. I called a local wal-mart and was told they had them in stock, even gave them the catalog number and when I questioned them about the mfg it turned out it was Rossi.

Well I got one ! Went to the other Walmart that sells guns, and bought the display model for $135.   And Coveyrise64 was right, Walmart now uses the same product code for the Rossi and NEF combo's.So if you call around ,make sure they look and verify that it's a Versa-Pack.    I really have no need for this now so it's going in the attic.   But who knows, the way the economy is going to hell, a gun like this might be worth it's weight in gold!
