Hi fellows. I am in a "situation." My nephew came to me for advice about buying a rifle that would last him a life time and have a little style. He wanted a .25cal. I suggested he buy a Sako in a 25-06. So far so good. He was getting married in a few months and this was going to be his last gun for a long while. He bought it through Cabalas and they had to get it from the factory. When it came, there was a huge let down. I have seen better wood in BBguns. For a $1200.00 gun, the grain was disgraceful. He has a birthday in a couple of months and I want to get a new stock for his Sako. Some one posted the web site address for Sako and I posted a message there about buying a factory stock with a little grain. However, they are closed for summer vacation. I don't know when I will hear from them. My question is do any of you fellows know any company that makes an after market drop in stock for Sakos? Thanks for any help. OOBuckshot
