so is the stuff that fits the 200 the same as the 110 like is it a clone of the 110 with the stevens name or somthing?

so would stocks, barrels, mounts.... ect all fit the stevens 200 if they fit the savage 110?

My understanding is that anything for the 110 is interchangeable with the Stevens.

The Stevens is just a Savage with no accu-trigger.

You can get some parts on the internet. Midway USA http://www.midwayusa.com/ has barrels that fit your Stevens 200, they are Adams & Bennett and are listed under Savage 110 parts. I would not consider them top quality, but I have had a couple and they both shoot decently. How ever the stocks will not interchange unless you have a long action 200. Midway USA  they also have synthetic stocks to fit your Stevens 200. Look for model 10 stocks. Boyd's http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/default.asp  is a good place to look for a replacement wood stock. For many other parts, such as triggers and trigger guards, recoil lugs, bolt handles, and quality barrels, this is a good source.

You should find just a bout any thing you desire for your Stevens 200 at these places. Good Luck and Good Shooting.

Ok so can i make sure i have this straight.. when i get my stevens 200 it will be in .223, which is obviously a short action...
so i would buy bases for a savage 10 with a rounded rear?
since that is a short action right and a 110 is a long action?
And i would buy them for a non accu trigger model since a stevens does not have an accu trigger and has a rounded reciever?

You are mostly correct.  The only thing that may be different is the magazine.  I think there are still some stevens out there without the center feed mag.  Otherwise your assessment is correct.  I just recently bought a stevens in .223 and love it.  I will shoot it for a while and then start to customize.

Kyle Hawkins,

Are you looking at re-barrelling it for something bigger than the 223 Remington case head?
