FA 97 45 Colt / Oct Bbl.
« on: September 09, 2008, 10:40:45 AM »
Well UPS just dropped this off, and I must say that I'm quite pleased.  I wrangled with my order (83 vs 97) for several months, but I believe - for it's intended purposes-  I made the right choice.  Unfortunately, I suspect this won't be my last FA revolver.

Thanks for all of the input here in helping with my decision.

Obviously I went with the oct bbl, round grip, and fixed sights, with the new dovetail front.

Why I thought you liked buying a gun and waiting 2 years for the government to let you take possession of it.... ;D

Have you been able to put it down?  I have three FAs and none of them move me the way yours does.  (Is my envy showing?  ::) )  That is a great looking revolver.  Makes me want to go home and caress some.
