How do they perform in Ruger Single Actions?

Is $240 for 1000 rounds a good deal?

What are your impressions on their performance?

Anyone? Is it a good bullet? Do you shoot them at all? Is that a good price?

No experience with them but yeah $12 per 50 rounds is entirely reasonable price wise. If you're using them for CAS matches they should do well. Round nose lead .38 ammo is notoriously inadequate as a man stopper. I'd not use it as self defense ammo but for plinking or CAS matches it should be fine.

Thank you. It would only be for target shooting and competitions. I just wanted to know if it was good ammo at a fair price.

$12/50 seems like a good price for commercial ammo.  I shoot .38 lead round nose or lead semiwad cutter reloads almost exclusively and have had no problems.

What's the problem with lrn for SD?

Lead round nose as with jacketed ball ammo causes minimal wound channel and no expansion.  They require more exact shot placement; which is near impossible in a self defense mode.  The round nose also delivers minimal kinetic energy to a body, due to the small and tapered nose, especially with low velocity loads.  Semi-wadcutters, wadcutters, and hollow points impart a lot of their energy upon impact; resulting in greater shock and larger wound channel.

Well said. Thank you for explaining that.
