Well here are the 2 finished products from Dennis at Da-mar gunsmiths. The top one was my regular 1100 which they did all the work on. The bottom one is my custom built 1187 that was designed by myself and Dennis. Which consist of an 1187 receiver drilled and tapped with a Da-mar mount, a 24 inch Badger barrel pinned, monte carlo stock, Remington supercell recoil pad,trigger job, barrel re crowned, forcing cone lengthend, and a custom Meta-life stainless finish.

It's shoots 1 inch groups or better at 50 yards and about 2 inch at 100, and as good as 4-5 inches at 150 if the wind coperates. Their work is the best they stand behind it and their prices are amazing. Deerhunter10

Very nice looking Sluggers you have there. Just went and read up on that Metalife finish, sounds like you will never have to worry about those guns ever rusting on ya.

Is this the place yours were done? Is that who Da-Mar uses?

Busta, that's exactly who I used. I sent my 1100 to Da-mar and they took it apart and sent what needed to be sent. Put it back together shot it and sent it back. I built my custom 1187 through them, meaning we talked they purchased what I asked for, then they again sent it to Meta-life got it back reassembled it shot it and sent it to me. I am very impressed with the results of both of these guns.
