Picked up a nice Ranger 94 in 30-30, sent it to the smith to get a 7-30 Waters barrel that I got from Gun Parts Corp several years ago put on. They gave it back, said he would have to cut the barrel to get it off, or heat the receiver, which would then need to be reheat treated, to get the original barrel off!
Has anyone else run into this problem? DP
