I can't find any .243wssm ammo.And I'm half way through my rechambering.Midway says till mid august.I need some now!!!

You might wanna call Winchester and ask them if they have shipped to any other dealers yet. I know that Midway is a big outfit. As such, if they don't have it, then it's kinda likely that no one else will either. In the meantime, try and give wholesalehunter.com a try. I recently bought some Hornady InterBond ammo from them and I don't think that Midway sells it yet. It's worth a try.

The last release I read from Winchester is that after they finished the redesign of the shoulder of the .243 WSSM that ammo and rifles wouldn't be available until mid August or early September. This included the brass from Winchester. I am curious as to what they did change, the degree of the shoulder, body taper, length of the neck, etc.? Makes a fellow wonder. Lawdog

J.D.Jones told me the brass and ammo would not be available until the last of July maybe later..we were discussing a 6.5 WSSM...sound interesting?

I was unable to find a number also. You might try the email approach and see what they tell you.
