This might not be an appropriate topic for this forum but I believe that an F-16 would qualify as an Illinois State firearm extrordinare?
At any rate, I was saddened that the Springfield based 183rd fighter wing competed their move to Indianapolis this week. I live around 20mile east of Springfield out in the sticks but am aligned with three towns spread out over a 30mile area and we were their targets
...Their manuvers were not often enough to be annoying but frequent enough to be a joy to watch pass overhead.
The move to Indianapolis had been in the works for at least 2 years and was based on the Military downsizing and the lack of Federal funding. This was a highly controversial move with much blame being placed on the Liberal Dims Who think that not only do you not need to own a gun, but the States and Nation do not need protecting either
