Right before deer season last year some kind soul left me 40  Hornady 45/70 empties in the brass box at my local shooting range.  When I started to reload them I was surprised at how much shorter they were compaired to the WW brass that I usually use.  Just to keep things streight I load a seperate load in the Hornadys from that I load in the WWs.  Other than that I haven't noticed any difference in the way they shoot.  I might be wrong but the Hornady brass seems a tad heavier than the WW.

I've got a scientific scale, I'll weigh it and get back to you.
If he's carrying a singleshot, don't expect a warning shot!
