Pa hog.....nice pics....thanks for sharing. For whatever reason, I seem to like the camo paint job you put on the .223AI Stevens 200. It just looks like it would blend in well "in the weeds".

I used Krylon Fusion Camo colors on that stock, I still have that stock, It's the best I ever did I used that rubberized matting for in Kitchen drawers or lining a shelve to spray thru kinda has a digital camo look.

I hope this post's.  It is my bobbed 99.  It was rough to start with, so I didn't feel bad making it into a brush and tree stand rifle.  Someone called it a trapper, I call it just right.  Plus, it's accurate!

Very Nice!! That matt finish will keep the sun glint down and the blend should keep it hidden well! Go whack some dogs!

Here is my Savage 110FP in 30-06.  This was my college graduation present to myself.  It has spent most of it's life at the rifle range, but has also been on one bear hunt so far.  By far this is my favorite rifle I have ever owned.

Only thing that's been done to the rifle was changing out the stock for a B&C Duramax.  I put a eagle stock pack on it and it's really handy for hunting licenses & extra ammo.  I bought some cheapo stick on rubber grip tape kit from midway and put it on the forend and grip.  It improved the feel of grip of the rifle, but it's like any other grip tape where it starts to peel off at the edges but it's held up well.  The scope is a nikon buckmaster with a 20 MOA badger mount.

Shottieman-Yes that is a S.S.S. LVT stock in Blue/Blue/Light Blue with Acc. Rail and Adj. Comb option's but no butt hook.
They are great stocks and e-z to finish-check my post in "Aftermarket Stocks" on Savage Shooters for details.

Very nice stock! I also know that they are easy to finish. I had one for my Savage 93!

I've learned a lesson not to deal with SSS anymore (as far as stocks are concerned).

It's a great looking stock tho!
