Went rumaging to day and bought a scope after Haggling for 23 bucks now I never pay that much for glass at Rummage Sales as if they are shot I do not want to get stuck with them and if it is possible sending them in. I saw this scope and I figured well I will take a chance I normally buy scopes for 5 bucks tops so in case they are bad I am not out any thing.I took it after I bought it to the local gun shop to have them check it out and it checks out good so I was happy. Oh the scope was a compact M8 4x Leupold    $ 269.00 was the price at the gun shop for a new one.Needless to say I am a happy camper. Now I just have to figure what I want to put it on. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Nice going.  I've never seen a scope at a garage/yard sale.  You should keep going (with your luck) and maybe find some old rifle for $50.00 to put it on.

I am going to take the big  3x12 Tasco off my Henry 22 Mag and put this compact 4x on it I think it will look better and I plan on using the 22 mag a lot so why not put a good scope on it. Jim
