I like the suppressor,  the scope is nice also.  Would like to try one of those scopes, since blue is the only color I see.  The only thing I can find on Tufforce scopes is for paint ball guns.  I did several searches and paint ball is all I come up with.  That suppressor looks an awful lot like the ones they put on paint ball guns also.  In the ten ring at 500 yards?  OK that's good, but I'm not overly impressed.  Just my $0.02 Rog

I'm back, I finally found Tufforce scopes.  The one with the blue reticle is a 3X12X40 with a side focus knob.  And a mil dot blue reticle.  Manufactors price is $199.99.  I've been looking at suppressors, they are expensive.  Thinking of putting one on my 30-06.  Have a friend with one on his .300 Win Mag.  Softens the noise down comparable to a .22RF

I'd like to see supressors become like some of our freinds over the pond, mandatory in some areas.  But they ARE expensive.  A survivor is NOT my idea of a tactical rifle, no matter how it's decked out.  My guess is, it's not his either, thus the reason for selling it.

A friend of mine started showing me is new toys the other day. A Walther P22 and an HK USP 40 both with silencers. Workmanship and fit was excellent and these were factory produced silencers (the kind you see in the LE magazines). He didn't tell me how much he paid, other than it was expensive and took a lot of paperwork to get. He really wasn't sure what he was going to use them for either. He said the 40 was louder than he expected.

I guess if I were in animal control, I'd have some use for a light silenced rifle, but not a 308. A lot of money though just to skip the muffs.

The reason I am interested in a suppressor is that I hunt Wolves.  It's nice to not have them hear, or be confused about where the noise came from.  I've been shooting a friends .300 Win Mag with a suppressor, and out at 300 to 400 yards you can't hear it shoot (at least I can't).

I recently had 5 weeks holiday in New Zealand, and checked out some gun shops. I was surprised to find silencers and suppressors easily available. Silencers are banned here in Australia. I have heard that with a .22 rimfire with a silencer it was possible to knock down rabbit after rabbit without alerting others - Pete
