22 Hornet SL w/sights and 45-70Gov

Some unexpected expenses came up that delayed me sending in my Handi for additional barrels.  I already have 45 Colt, 357 Magnum and a 28"12Ga Full.  My thoughts are to go for a Slime Line 22 Hornet and 45-70 to round out my Carbine Ensemble.  I'd really like to try reduced loads in the 45-70 using the Gould 330gr cast hollow point bullet at 1100fps and try gallery loads using the collar button bullet .  No plans for the 22 Hornet yet, but I'll get around to it in a year or three.

If you want the superlight Hornet, better get it while you can, if you can, it's been discontinued.

i use 12 gr of green dot, on the 45/70's , great target load, i use a 300 and 340 gr both with the same load ,  works great for me, check under cowboy loads for fifles in most reloading  manuals anymore most all list a few loads , like this

They ran out of the 20" Hornet accessory barrels sometime prior late January - both the youth model and the super light.  Grrr

So you'll have to find a used one.
