A buddy of mine has a Ruger sp101 that is in 98% condition and wants to sell it to me for 320.00 It is the 357 with the 2 inch barrel. Is this a good deal?

I've seen them going for $350-$360. I think it's a great price.

Thanks for the replies. I have been looking for a possible concealed carry gun for a while now. I went out and shot it and some auto's this weekend and really like the SP. I also could not hit much with the auto's. The SP now has a new home, I just have to keep my son away from it since he likes it so much. Now he is looking for one of his own.

If you can find one of the .22s, it's a great plinker and you can practice with a gun that has the same feel to it as you carry gun. They are no longer in production, which is a shame. They are really a great little gun. Think about it. An SP101 that shoots meek and mild little .22LR -- talk about a gun that will last forever! I had a Ruger Mk.II that jamed all the time and traded it for the SP101. Somehow I feel like I came out ahead in the deal. ;D

Wouldn't get one for $320 around here. $350-$375, maybe.
