TC and Hornady have come out with a new round!!!!!!!

This sounds very interesting. Hornady and TC have come out with a new round. It is the .30 TC and is chambered in their new bolt action rifle the TC Icon. I was looking at one on Gun Broker and I have to say it sure is a pretty rifle for around $800.00. The cartridge is a shortened version of the 308 Winchester and has better ballistics.  30TC/308mrx from there we step back to 308, then we rewind to 7.5x54MAS who sprung from the grandfather of them all 7.65x53 Mauser. NONE of which does anything it's predecessor didn't do. WHY GOD WHY? what have we done to deserve this.

Today is the first I have heard of this round. I guess it has been out sometime from the more I read up on it. I also think the 6.5 Creedmoor is a 30 TC necked down to a 6.5. Dale

I did get to fondle an Icon at the SHOT show in February. It seemed like a nice rifle.
The 30 cal has no interest to me as Ohio is not a rifle for deer state. An Icon in a varmint caliber could be in my future.
