As posted, pull the trigger. Get the Remington. .223. Take a little care of it and you'll have a rifle you'll be proud to pass on to your kids.  If you're gonna get into reloading, get the Lee Kit.  You can up grade as you learn and funds become available. 
I reload but I've also found that the remanufactured .223 stuff shoots pretty good in my rifles. 

Ya, I think I will get the Remington in .223, and ya I was/am looking at the Lee kit. That will be most likely the next thing I get after my gun.

i bought the 700 sps varmint from dicks because i wanted the green stock it was 550+tax so about 600 by the time i got out the door i havent shot it yet, i want to put a better scope on it first but i like it and i think you will to

Ya, that's the one I want, but right now it's on sale for $500. So, now I got to get my dad moving on getting it.

EDIT: I will use the scope that comes with it for now, because I want to get some reloading stuff first.
