point of impact change
« on: May 27, 2008, 02:03:37 PM »
My Versa-Pack .22's point of impact is quite sensitive to the way it is held or rested. When rested on the hinge pin, the POI is about 6" higher at 50 yards than when it is shot in a standard sitting position.  Has anyone else noticed this with NEF .22s?  My centerfire Handi-Rifles don't seem to be nearly as touchy.

I have done the usual "75-cent free-float job", putting an o-ring over the forend screw fitting.  I'm interest to hear others' experiences with this issue.
