OT: Looking for Some Help in Planning a Vacation
« on: May 23, 2008, 05:25:36 AM »
Does anyone have experience with a vacation involving horseback riding in the foothills or similar beautiful countryside. My wife needs a vacation and she loves horses. I like horses that don' buck or bite and do what they are told but smart enough not to get the rider into trouble . Any experience or advise would be appreciated. I need a good place to go but don't know where to start.

Thanks in advance

Mc

A good friend of mine who was a horseman most of his life once told me: If you are around horses long enough that you are bound to get hurt. My 18 years in Colorado horse country tended to prove the fact that he is a man of great wisdom.      bill

South Lake Tahoe would be nice.  Larry

You might want to consider the Black Hills of South Dakota
