I have not had a lot exposure with peep sights. I have had enough to know that the size of the "peep", the post size and shape and distance between them can make a real nice set up or one that is practically useless. Before scopes became plentiful and relatively cheap, peep sights were the way to go for accurate shooting. They are still one of the most accurate non-optical sights you can get. They are not a quick sight, there are better iron sight designs for that. Again they have to be set up correctly to work right and of course the right application. Good Luck and Good Shooting.
