.30 Streaker ..... Anyone had any experience with that round?

Has anyone had any experience with the .30 Streaker?  Or known anyone who has?



The .30 Streaker is essentially a 1.469inch version of the 1.605inch .30 Herrett, or sorta like a rimmed .30 Bench Rest cartridge based on the .30-30 case.

It is the shorter length of the .30 Streaker that appeals to me, besides head-spacing off its rim (versus the shoulder on the .30BR), and being well-suited for use in a break-action single-shot.

No experience, but read about it.  I think a modified 30-30 levergun would be a great home defense gun with a mag full of those.  Modify the levergun for a shorter throw and the stop to prevent more than one coming out each stroke.

I'd imagine a 130gr bullet at about 2100fps or so from it.  Maybe more.
