I went back to the ad and it listed the serial number to the gun in question. I don't know if this will help identify the model or not, but maybe the year. A- 648xx.  Thanks again.    RRM

There are three FA models chamberd in .22 -- Model 83 (Large Frame) and Model 97 (Small Frame) and the Mini Revolvers.  There are a bunch of options on both the 83 and 97 that can drive the price up considerably.  Give Freedom Arms a call  307-883-2468.  From the serial number, they can tell you what model it is, and maybe even how it was originally configured.

Hey Paul105, thank you very much. Good advice, never thought about calling Freedom Arms direct. I have the factory letter mind set instead of the phone call mind set. lol Anyway, I did call Freedom Arms and talked to a very nice lady and told her the situation and when I gave her the serial number she knew right away what it was. It is one of the mini guns in .22 L.R. She also said they have not made it for awhile. At least now I know what it is and will not take off work to go to an auction to buy something I'm not interested in. Thanks again.     RRM
