Russian Tula Toz 122 .308 bolt action rifle

I saw one of these for sale at a local shooting range/gun shop and I am wondering if anyone has any information about them/bought one/no someone that has one/saw a test report on it. I was curious about the rifle since they have it marked at $150 and seems like a decent deal for a foul weather gun.

Was it new, used, milsup?  Could you mount a scope? Could you find mounts?  Would they let you snap the trigger?  How did it feel?  What did the bore look like?  For a $150 and a $25.00 scope, sounds like a truck gun to me. At least.
All that said, obviously I actually know nothing about them.

A new one is $289 in .308 they also make a .22LR  that cost $175 new I have not shot one but I have heard that the.22 is a great little plinker.  some of the shotguns the make have a great reputation. SSME  DEUTSCHE is the importer

 OK here's the skinny

PLUSES

 comes with 2 6rd mags
shoots pretty good, I managed a few sub 3" 100m groups using the sights
takes SKS front sight posts
chrome lined bore should be great for a truck gun
handles really well
comes with some truly QD scope mounts
the express style sights work pretty good

minuses

very crude machining; compared to a wartime mosin this thing looks like Kathy Bates standing next to Ashley Judd

action was VERY stiff at first, really requiring you to get rough when ejecting and extracting

the scope rings are very crudely machined and wouldn't hold onto a 1" scope. I'll try some electrical tape between the scope and rings next time.

The trigger is horrible


 I bought the rifle to shoot in our local highpower matches. So the magazine capacity sold the gun to me. Overall I'm satisfied, because it's a fun rifle to shoot and with some tinkering I think I can work out some of the problems

Looks very interesting.  For the price I'd almost just buy one out of curiosity .  One positive thing I can say just by looking at it: unlike the other budget guns on the market today, this comes with a wood stock (major for me in a rifle - even if I find it at a good deal I won't buy a synthetic stock rifle unless I know I can buy an aftermarket wood stock replacement ).

On the website I do see that they offer it in .223, which I think I'd probably go for over the .308 (already got two .30-06's which are close.  Technically I have a .225 Winchester too which is close to the .223 I guess, but the .223 has dirt cheap ammo available ).
