Looking for Aftermarket Grips for Freedom Arms Revolver
« on: April 30, 2008, 06:46:09 PM »
Does anyone make after market grips for Freedom Arms revolvers?

I have a chance to purchase an extremely good condition used 6" Premier grade 454 Casull but have this thing for black/gray laminate on stainless steel guns.

Sooo... I'm looking for a source for black/gray grips.

Thanks for any info/thoughts...

There aren't any over the counter. You'll have to work with a custom grip maker.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but do check it out. If I were on the market for new grips, and did not have to send my piece over the Atlantic, I would have this guy make me a set of these fabulous grips!

Faced w/the same situation as you, except my 'thing' is green/black laminate. FA did sell me a set of shaped blanks for me to fit/finish to my 83. Perhaps they have black/gray? Worth a fone call. Of course they can do the fitting/finishing for a price ~

Camp Cook, Freedom Arms put Black/Gray grips on their Wyoming Centennial pistols back in the early 90's. It maybe possible that they still have a pair of blanks kicking around the shop. Don't know till you give them a call. stevejr454

Herrett makes custom grips for the FA.  Do a google search for Herrett grips in Idaho.  Spendy, but beautiful.
