Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16X40mm
« on: July 17, 2003, 06:59:07 PM »
Arrived yesterday and is now sitting atop my Encore .223.  It really looks good in those Warne Maxima mounts.

First impression of the scope is great.  I am as impressed with it as I was when I got my Elite 3200 3-9X40mm.  The power adjusment ring has just the right amount of resistance - turns easliy, but stiff enough to not turn while rubbing against your coat or something.  And I absolutely love the windage/elevation adjusment knobs.  Looks like a real machine of a scope.

Initial impression of the optics seem to be great as well.  Just looking through it in the backyard it appears to transmit a good amount of light and the image is clear, bright, and even to the edges.

Range report to follow soon.
