I won't say whether I did, but it was 38º, windy and spitting snow when we got to the farm at 9am, talked with the land owner who hadn't seen any big turkey flocks like he usually does, hunted for 4 hours, made 3 sits, got real cold sittin in the cold and wind, I'll leave the conclusion to your imagination!!  ;D

Richard,

When I checked the forecast yesterday am, it looked good, partly sunny and no wind, last night at 9:30 PDT, it was looking bad, they moved the "nice" day from Tuesday to Wednesday, I almost called my huntin partner to change the trip to tomorrow, but he goes to bed at 9, so I was too late. Might go Friday, just depends on "weather" we get the nice days they predict. ::) I suppose next week will be warm and dry, he can't hunt, has to work!! :-\

Tim - Would you mind not sending your bad weather my way for the weekend? I have one of the coveted Lincoln County Montana Spring gobbler tags and your bad weather gets here just when I get time to hunt. You'll love this - our turkey season opened on 4/12 and Spring bear opened 4/15 so we have guys in camo hiding out in the woods with shotguns and guys wearing orange wondering around in the woods with rifles all at the same time. Good thing its a big country. Fun is where ya find it. :D

Gary, we have a barrier that helps keep that bad weather from getting to my hunting area and beyond, it's called the Cascade range!! ;D But when it's bad enough, it still gets past it. Good luck in the mixed woods. ;)

Your "barrier" seems to act like a showerhead right over the roof of my house...!!!!
(But I wouldn't trade livin' in the cascade foothills for NOTHIN!!!)
