Assuming this is based on what I already own:

Handguns:

#1 = Ruger Single Six .22 LR (6" barrel)

#2 = Ruger SP101 in .357 (3" barrel)

#3 = Kimber Custom in .45 ACP (Full size)

Long guns:

#1 = Bushmaster AR 15 in .223 (16" barrel)

#2 = Mossberg 500 in 12 GA (21" barrel + 18 barrel)

#3 = Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in .30-06

The only change I would make if it didn't depend on owning one already would be changing the SP 101 in .357 over to a Redhawk in .44 Mag.

2. 1974 M1911, .45 ACP, Nickel
3.  Ruger single six, stainless

Handguns Sig P225, Sig SP 2340, Sig P239, should have a .22 revolver but alas...    Long guns AR 15, Remington 870, Tikka T3, these are chosen from what's at hand, not the dream list!

Handguns
Blackhawk 45lc
Springfield Armory 1911 45acp
Buckmark .22lr

Long guns
Rem 870 12ga
Marlin 1895ss 45/70
Marlin 25 .22lr

These suit me just fine under normal circumstances. Under survival situations the 45/70 would be replaced with .308 bolt gun. The BH  and Marlin 25 would just go away and  would be replaced with snares and fishing equipment.

I am kinda on this wavelength anyway ......

Out of what I currently have :

Ruger Single Six 22/22m
Ruger GP100 .357 4"
TC Encore .308 15"

Tikka T3 .270 WSM
Benneli SBE 12g
Kimber 82 .22lr

If I were to change things a little .............

Probably sell the Tikka and get a HS Precision in the same caliber
Kimber .22 is sweet and was a gift..........but from scratch..........I'd probably just get a Ruger 10/22

The 3 long guns and 3 handguns I would keep are:

Tikka 300 Win Mag
Marlin Guide gun 45-70
Baretta Shotgun 12 ga.

BFR in 500 Mag
S&W 460 Mag
T/C Encore 223

But I am glad I don't have to choose.

Easy to see there ain't no Cowboy Shooters replying to this thread.

Hand guns.

#1  .45 Colt SAA with 5&1/2 in bbl
#2  .45 Colt SAA with 4&3/4 in bbl
#3  Ruger Bearcat 22lr with Stag Grips

Long Guns.

#1   Rossi Model 92 in .45 Colt
#2   Husquaverna Model 52 Hammer SxS in 12ga cut back to 22&1/2 in bbls
#3   Ruger Mark II SS cal .243

The .243 and Husky would do for all the hunting I do any more, along with the Rossi, the .45's would do for both CAS and a CCW gun, and the Bearcat is just too much fun to ever get rid of.

But truthfully, I don't see me ever cutting back to that few numbers of guns.
