Thanks to "lennyzrx" a 760 lives to hunt again. A friend has come into several firearms with bent barrels (sad story) and had a 760 30-06 that needed a barrel. Kevin aka "lennyzrx" had posted he had some parts. I got them for my friend for the cost of the postage. My friend used one of the three barrels and bolts Kevin sent and put the 760 together as a .308. I test fired it today with some surplus 7.62x51 ammo and I'm still in one piece.
The head space had been checked by a local gunsmith.
I need to check it out with factory ammo for accuracy. I'm hoping he can use one of the 760 barrels and bolts to get the 7600 he inherited back in action.
