I finally have MY OWN CAMP!!!

Well I finally got my own camp where I can hunt,fish and hang out.My camp is in southern Perry county and is on 75 acres of my ground and 73,000 acres of SGL.I HAVE TRIED TO FIND A CAMP TO JOIN FOR THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS AND NEVER GOT A RESPONSE FROM ANYONE,SO I FIGURED I WOULD JUST GET MY OWN,NO MORE BEGGING FOR A PLACE TO HUNT.I also have a stocked trout stream that runs through the front of my property....went down to look around last week and saw in excess of 2 dozen deer.BTW,camp sleeps 12 comfortably .....I can't wait for early ML season..JIM

Congratulations!!  That is a dream of mine.  I have two young boys and every year I see less and less land to hunt.  I've never been much for the SGL cause I was afraid of bumping other hunters, but the more I hunt locally I think I'd be better off on SGL's.  Good luck and happy hunting in the years to come.

Sounds like the Sheaffer's Valley area near Dublin gap adjoining the Tuscarora State Forest. I hunt that same state forest outside of Blain (western Perry county).
