C-Z 527 Varmint Rings?
« on: April 08, 2008, 03:07:00 PM »
I just pulled off a trade: I traded my Ruger 22 Hornet for a C-Z 527 Varmint in .204 Ruger. I liked my Hornet but I just got the urge for a different caliber.

Anyway, can anyone tell me what kind of rings the C-Z takes? Do I have to buy the C-Z rings for it?

It should be here by Friday and I want to have everything ready to go. I am very excited to get into load development for this rifle.

Thanks,
Scott.

I THINK you'll need CZ rings.  Hope you like your purchase.  I know I love my CZ.

May I suggest that you do a web search. Several makers of rings will be found Millet for one makes them as does Leupold but whether they make them for the 527 I didn't look, have some Millet's for the 601 action my self.

Burris makes them but I'm not sure about anyone else, They are definitely different than any others with the wider dovetail.

New they come with rings. Even if yours is use it should have them, unless the previous owner sold or lost them.

Thanks for the replies. Still waiting on the gun to arrive. It is chambered for .204 Ruger. Guy at the shop said it should be in tomorrow.
