Has anyone here tried the Savage scout rifle
« on: April 08, 2008, 10:46:41 AM »
I'm the kind of hunter who has a hard time sitting still, so I like a compact, fast handling rifle for all the hiking I do.

I notice that savage has a short (20") bbl scout rifle with a ghost ring sight and scout scope mount.  Does anyone here know anything about this rifle?

Do not have one but I know that with all the aftermarket parts out there for savages, it shouldn't be hard to make your own. I have a 110 with a 6.5x55 and 30.06 barrels for it. So a 20" 358 winchester barrel and your off and running
