I spoke with Gordon on the phone today, I didn't know about the plant closure at the time and he didn't mention it. Gordon is going to replace my frame on my Handi because of the pin that is loose. I told him that I put Loc-tite 609 retaining compound on it and that it hasn't slipped in about 80 shots. He said that it would probably be OK but he didn't like the thought of one of his guns having to be held together with Loc-tite. He said that he would pay the shipping and have UPS pick it up along with all three barrels and that there was a 50/50 chance that my barrels would fit another frame. I told him that two of my barrels had been customized with the addition of scout style scope mounts drilled and tapped in the barrels.
I hope I can keep these barrels with the new frame.
Also my trigger is good on the frame I have, don't know what I might end up with on the new one.
I hope the knowledge of the plant closure doesn't send the quality downhill.
