995 carbine laser mounting
« on: April 01, 2008, 08:46:20 AM »
Was seriously thinking about buying a 995 w/laser, but the ? is does the pressure switch mount back
far enough to be able to fire the gun one handed and turn on the laser?

I don't have a laser sight mounted on my 995 so I can't give you a definate answer.   But I would assume what your wanting to do would work because the 995 carbine can be easily shot one handed.  Anyone else have any input on this?

Diggin up a real old post but the answer is no, the Laser does not go back far enough to activate one handed.

My laser has remained dead on for 4 years however.  Awesome

Actually it will if you put it on the scope rail that replaces the irons.
Just enough wire to reach the grip for thumb opperation.
Of course the downfall is the laser will be your only means of aiming.
Happy shooting,
